Boston Scientific Interview Questions.

Interview Questions you should ask BSCI (Read text first):

I worked for BSCI for just over a year in Maple Grove, and I spent time traveling to Natick (HeadQuarters).

 Be very cautious about these positions. I took on a Senior Supply Chain  role in their technology group, and I was supposed to be involved with SAP BW, Enterprise Performance Management and much more. 

In the end I took several steps backwards and the job was really an analyst position.

As far as software / IT goes at BSCI, their IT group has very little respect from Natick.

 Maple Grove is littered with Access and Excel , and they have zero access to the enterprise SAP system.

 Working at Maple Grove means you will be working with "Cob-Job" systems, and poor leadership.

 Do yourself a favor and validate this assessment by asking the following questions when interviewing:

1). Do you have access to the SAP system in Natick? Meaning...do any IT people in Maple Grove develop solutions on the enterprise tools? The answer is no.

2). Is the Maple Grove facility at odds with the rest of the company? Answer: YES.

 Very few sites globally have respect for Maple Grove. Working with other locations is next to impossible.

3). Will I be working on documenting homegrown systems or enterprise systems? Answer:

 HomeGrown! Maple grove is simply a support facility with respect to IT. They put in phones, support the local network, and support their local forecasting tool.

All in all: I know the medical device companies are attractive right now, but do yourself a favor and stay away.

 This place is a giant head-ache! Luckily I was recruited out of there by another former employee.

 I know I sound very negative, but I would hate to see others suffer from the same issues.

Finally, don't be impressed with the fact that Maple Grove has the best selling product of the company.

 It means nothing as the organization is trying to bring control back to the East Coast.
